Tolulope Arotile whose death was pronounced last week by the Nigeria Air Force (NAF) was the Nigeria’s First female combat helicopter pilot. She was reportedly hit by a car driven by her classmate.
Tolulope Arotile died at age 24 as a result of head injuries she sustained from the accident, which happened at the Nigerian Air Force base in Kaduna state.
Today, 23rd of July, 2020 she was laid to rest. May her soul continue to rest in the peace. In attendance at the burial were different personalities like the Chief of Army Staff Abdulrahman Bello Dambazau and other top officers.
General Abdulrahman Bello Dambazau is a Nigerian politician and military general who served as Chief of Army Staff between 2008 and 2010; and in President Muhammadu Buhari’s Cabinet as Minister of the Interior from 2015 to 2019.
