The chairman of the presidential task force on COVID-19 Boss Mustapha recently announced the government decision to life up the ban on religious gatherings.
Below are key measures that would still remain enforced for the next four weeks.
1. Ban on interstate travels
2. Use of face masks and regular temperature checks
3. Ban on domestic flight
4. Closure of schools across the country
The ban on interstate travels still continues with only exemption from essential services, food items as well as manufactured products.
The use of face masks in public places however should be continually adhered to.
However, the presidential task force stated that they are working endlessly and tirelessly with the ministry of education to ensure the safe and smooth reopening of academic activities in our various schools.
At such, we all are expected to keep staying safe, maintain social distancing as well as adhere to all the stipulated measures aimed at curtailing the spread of the corona virus pandemic in the country.
