FG releases list of lockdown protocols that will be enforced for the next four weeks

The chairman of the presidential task force on COVID-19 Boss Mustapha recently announced the government decision to life up the ban on religious gatherings.

However, according to him, some measures aimed at curtailing the spread of the corona virus pandemic across the country will still be enforced for the next four weeks as approved by President Buhari upon recommendation from the presidential task force.

Below are key measures that would still remain enforced for the next four weeks.

1. Ban on interstate travels

2. Use of face masks and regular temperature checks

3. Ban on domestic flight

4. Closure of schools across the country

The ban on interstate travels still continues with only exemption from essential services, food items as well as manufactured products.

The use of face masks in public places however should be continually adhered to.

However, the presidential task force stated that they are working endlessly and tirelessly with the ministry of education to ensure the safe and smooth reopening of academic activities in our various schools.

At such, we all are expected to keep staying safe, maintain social distancing as well as adhere to all the stipulated measures aimed at curtailing the spread of the corona virus pandemic in the country.
