The UEFA Nations League group stages kicks off on Thursday the 3rd of September with a lot of fixtures being played on that day, one of which is played between very Good football nations, Germany and Spain. Germany will face Spain in one of those fixtures.

Germany versus Spain is a fixture that has produced alot of young talent and it is always filled with a lot of drama. Germany face Spain in Group A4 on the 3rd of September with both sides desperate to get off to a strong start following disappointing efforts in recent major tournaments.

Leroy Sane gets his first call up since June 2019.

Chelsea’s new boy Timo Werner is in the squad and Kai Havertz who is waiting patiently for his move to Stamford bridge also received a call up. Marcus Reus and Lucas Klostermann also made the squad.

Surprisingly, Manuel Neuer, Joshua Kimmich, Leon Goretzka and Serge Gnabry have all been left out.

Spain

Sergio Reguilon, Eric Garcia and Ferran Torres all made the squad.

 

Adama Traore will still have to wait a little bit longer to make his senior debut. He will miss out after returning a positive Covid-19 test.
